I get the personality ‘Architect’ when I take a Myer-Briggs personality test. Which means I am a quiet, thoughtful, and creative person. I view architecture as the craft of assembling components into something that is both useable and aesthetic and it is really exciting to me. I’m unsure if it’s just in my DNA (my father is an architect as well), or if the countless hours of playing Minecraft and Legos in my youth was what drew me toward this field. However, I really enjoy the process and history that architecture conveys, and I hope to continue the evolution of the practice in ways that meet the needs of people, both practically and aesthetically.

My Eagle Scout project involved constructing five benches for the Bureau of Land Management in Steamboat Springs; they were placed on the Emerald Mtn. Trail system to provide resting places for cyclists and hikers.
