From the series of diagrams, each rectilinear shape in the diagrams was extruded into a plane. The thickness of the shapes was irrelevant, but the positioning was what generated the forms of these models.
The modules created by the plane extrusions were combined to created a planar space. This combination of modules was modified several times before the design was finalized.
This was probably my first exposure to how drawings can and should expose the project’s character. For example the exploded isometric drawing shows an assembly of modules to create the space or how plans can illustrate site conditions and depth.
